Massage can be some times looked at as a luxury but this is far from the truth. Massage has so many great benefits.
Relaxation massage such as Swedish massage, hot stone massage and aromatherapy massage are highly relaxing treatments which help reduce stress from the body. The flowing movements, decrease the heart rate and send signals to the brain to tell you are safe, this calms the nervous system and reduces your flight or fight response.
This helps to calm the nervous system. Helping to release tension and relax the muscles to the body. It also helps to release the feel good hormones endorphin's.
Massage can also aid digestive issues caused by stress, stress headaches, muscles tension, sleep issues, anxiety, depression and more.
