Using essential oils at home for medical and non-medical purposes can be easy.
Here are 3 of the most effective ways of using essential oils:-
Compresses
Fill a bowl with 100mls of hot or cold water (Cold helps reduce inflammation and heat is soothing)
Add one drop of your chosen essential oil
Soak a flannel or muslin cloth in the water
Squeeze out excess water
Place the compress on to or over the affected area of the body
Hot compresses are good for muscular aches and pains, earaches and toothaches
Cold compress are better for headaches and joint sprains
Baths & foot spas
This the easiest way of using essential oils is in a bath or foot spa,
By adding essential oils to an unperfumed bath oil or cup of full cream milk before adding to the bath will help the oil dissolve in to the water and soak in to the skin.
Add up to 6 drops of essential oil to a bath and 2 drops of essential oil to a foot spa add to emulsifier and place in to warm water and relax for around 20 minutes.
