Hello guest
Your basket is empty
Today is the 14th annual world sleep day! The slogan is ‘Regular Sleep, Healthy Future.’

Working within my complimentary/ holistic practice, I work with many clients who are experiencing various sleep issues. This can be due to lifestyle, diet, environment, daily stress and overwhelm.

I take in to account each area of their lifestyle to come up with a sutible treatment plan to help get them back on track.

Sleep is important for our health & well-being. After a good night’s sleep, we feel balanced, energised, concentrate better and are more productive.

Here are 5 tips I would give my clients as homecare advice to help them sleep better.

1) Try and eat your meals at the same time each day and your dinner 2-3 hours before bed.

2) If you are napping during the day set an alarm for 30 minutes and try to nap between the hours of 1pm and 3pm.

3)Get in at least 20 to 30 minutes of exercise each day. (This can be just a gentle walk)

4) Limit your caffeine intake and get this in before 12pm each day. (Be careful as caffine can be hidden in green tea's)

5) Get in to a routine of going to bed at the same time every day.
We are creatures of habbit and having a routine helps our brain to recognise that it's time to go to sleep. Here are some ideas to include in your routine, have a warm bath, read, do some gentle yoga, turn of your phone at least an hour before you sleep.
