Stress is one of the number one causes for illness. In today's world stress is heightened due to our busy lifestyles. 
Many of us suffer with high stress levels, due to our jobs, family commitments, financial worries, home responsibilities, keeping up with friends, no wonder we get to the point that we can not cope. 
Unfortunately these pressures over a long period of time can have an effect on our bodies physically and mentally here are some examples :- 
We become exhausted 
Our immune system becomes weak and we become sick 
Blood pressure can rise 
Our digestion system can be affected causing us to become constipated or have diarrhea 
Suffer with stress headaches 
Cause us to have heavier periods or menstrual pain 
Affect how we think 
Cause anxieties and fears 
We could help to reduce some of these affect's by simply lifestyle changes such as diet, gentle exercise or even scheduling in to our diaries 10 minutes a day to focus on something we enjoy or some quiet time. 
Reflexology or relaxation massage are great ways for giving you time to forget about your troubles. Just one hour a month can help lower stress levels, release tension and create a natural state of balance to the mind, body and spirit.
