Hello guest
Your basket is empty
So nice to see the sun at last, long may it last! It's been a busy few days in the treatment room and so many of you are coming in the treatment room with sun kissed faces but your skin is very de-hydrated and dry. I wanted to share with you some of my top tips and products to help you quench your skins thirst during the heatwave and as we move in to the autumn months.

Drink Plenty of Water:
Staying well-hydrated from the inside out is crucial. Drink at least 8-10 glasses of water per day, and more if you're active or spending time in the sun.

Use a Gentle Cleanser:
Cleansing your face in the morning and as soon as you come in from outside helps to remove pollution, dirt and free radicals which have built up through the day, as well as helping hydrate and remove excess oils from the skin. Avoid harsh soaps, which can strip your skin of its natural oils. Below is cleanser I recommend.

Exfoliate Regularly:
Gently exfoliate your skin once or twice a week to remove dead skin cells, which can prevent your moisturiser from working effectively. Below is a exfoliator I recommend.

Sunscreen:
Sunscreen is essential to protect your skin from UV damage. Choose a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 50, and reapply every two hours when outdoors. I also recommend a natural SPF which has a hyaluronic acid (helps to hydrate the skin).

Moisturise:
Use a lightweight, oil-free moisturiser for your face and a richer, hydrating lotion for your body. Apply moisturizer right after showering to lock in moisture.

Hydrating Face Masks:
Consider using hydrating face masks once or twice a week to provide an extra boost of moisture to your skin.

Limit Hot Showers and Baths:
Hot water can strip your skin of its natural oils, so opt for lukewarm water when bathing.

Over-Exfoliating:
While exfoliation is important, don't overdo it. Too much exfoliation can make your skin more sensitive to the sun.

Stay Hydrated from the Inside:
Eat water-rich foods like fruits and vegetables, such as watermelon, cucumber, and oranges, to help keep your body and skin hydrated.

Avoid Excessive Alcohol and Caffeine:
These can be dehydrating, so try to limit your consumption, especially on hot days.

Stay in the Shade:
Whenever possible, seek shade during the hottest part of the day to reduce sun exposure and the risk of sunburn.

Use Hydrating Products and Natural Products:
Look for skincare products that contain hyaluronic acid, aloe vera as these ingredients help to lock in moisture to the skin.
Using natural, organic products work with the body to give you the nourishment your whole body needs. Lot's of skin products you find are full of nasties which clog and cause congestion with in the skin and body.
